Sometimes it's really easy to see when a game is a scam. When the developers are interested in only taking your money and running. When something is thrown together in 30 minutes with a collection of free asset swaps. Sometimes, it's not so easy. I've been working (on and off) on a Steam Curator list for abandoned games that are still for sale on the Steam store as a warning or PSA for all to be wary of. This curator lists games with issues such as:
-Early Access games abandoned by devs before completion or promises fulfilled
-Major stability issues that have gone unpatched
-Multiplayer games with offline servers or lack of playerbase
